What is your quality? It may not be a question that you have asked yourself lately but everybody has one. If you were an actor trying to make it in Hollywood you would be defined according to your “quality.” I guess you can say we do the same thing in life apart from going to auditions. What exactly is quality and how do we define our own? First, it’s important to understand that throughout all of nature there are qualities that make up everything. From light to matter or sadness to exuberance these are all expressions of qualities. One thing about it is that it's constantly changing. We can be excited to land a big audition only to feel let down if we didn’t get the part. So in this way, quality can be quite ineffable. But there is usually one grounding quality that makes us who we are. This is why others are trying to define it in order to categorize our type. Our quality is really nothing other than our experience in life. All of our thoughts, feelings, experiences, and relationships ultimately add up to a “vibe” or energy that we sense when we meet another. To better understand our quality we only need to look at how we react to certain circumstances. Certain agents, managers, casting directors will also recognize it when we are more aware of it within ourselves. The result will be an effortless connection. When we define quality we have more clarity. We cannot avoid life and because of that we cannot avoid understanding this special uniqueness that only we possess.
